Jo originally emailed me approximately nine months prior to her wedding date saying “after seeing your jewellery at a wedding fair and looking through your website I am extremely keen for you to design my wedding tiara”.
We started the design process firstly by emailing and talking over the phone and then consequently booked a consultation. Jo had never tried on a tiara before but was interested in a selection of designs from our website that could be adapted, and also mentioning that a simple crown or half-crown style may suit her.
During our meeting we established exactly the kind of style Jo wanted for her wedding and the outcome of the sketching design process was a beautiful three-pointed half-crown that sat on a traditional tiara base.
This new creation, now known as the Atlantis tiara, had exact height and width specifications for Jo, and included sparkling clear and opaque Swarovski crystals, which could match in with her existing necklace, dress and wedding colour theme.
Following her wedding day Jo contacted me simply saying “Thank you Mia for my beautiful dream wedding tiara... It is absolutely beautiful. Perfect. Gorgeous. Thank you.”
Sharlene and I met for a consultation and began by establishing that she wanted a simple tiara design for her wedding day. We sketched a number of possible designs and options that would match in with her wedding dress and theme, and the perfect solution came in a very original double headband design with small clusters of faux pearls and small pieces of clear quartz crystal gemstones.
This gave birth to the Orion tiara, which looked truly beautiful for her wedding in Zambia.
